Create an account with your email address. You get a login code by email, no password. Fill in a short profile.

You don't plan a thing: we invite you. Until your profile is live, you see no one and pay nothing.

Approved? Complete your profile with the facts from your screening. Then your membership starts: €50 a month.

Mireya plans your date
We suggest a date; you each say yes or no, blind. Two yeses? Your date is on. We sort out the time and place.

A live video call of about 20 minutes, on our own video platform. No phone call, no pre-recorded clip. Your profile shows what we saw and what you told us. No job? Then your profile says so. That's no reason to reject you.

Verified by humans: three ticks you can't give yourself.
You get two when you pass the screening. You earn the third with your first three dates. They can't be bought.
Live-screened
Seen and spoken to, live on video, by a person. Not what you claim about yourself.
Identity confirmed
ID on camera, your face alongside. No photos of someone else.
100% show-up rate
Appears after your third date. So everyone can see you've shown up every single time.
Outcome, not proof
We record 'confirmed', not the document. Your papers simply stay with you.
A badge is earned, not claimed.
On top of the three ticks, the screener can give you one badge for what you do. You can never give yourself a badge. Exactly the same for women and men.
Baller Alert (wealth) and your income are hidden by default. Others only see them if you make them visible yourself.
One no-show and you're out.
We plan every date with care, so everyone shows up. At €50 a month, you don't want to sit at a table for nothing. This rule sees to that.

- Cancel at the last minute? Also a no-show.
- Profile offline at once. Someone else gets your spot.
Were you in hospital, or did you have an accident? Then we'll look at it fairly.

Why does Mireya cost €50 a month?
You're not just paying for your own screening. Every new member is screened live, for about 20 minutes, by a person. And we plan your dates by hand. That takes time, every month. That way, everyone you meet is someone Mireya has already talked to.
What if I'm rejected?
Then we'll email you the reason. You pay nothing, since you only pay after approval. Reasons include: you're not the person in your photos, you're demonstrably lying about your job or income, you're in a relationship, or you won't show ID.
What happens to my screening data?
We keep the outcome, never the proof. You only show your ID on camera. We don't copy or store it, and we never ask for your BSN. We record 'income confirmed: €70–100k', not a payslip. Your income is only visible if you want it to be.
I don't have a job, or I'm not a millionaire. Can I join?
Yes. Having no job won't get you rejected: your profile simply says so. It's not about being rich, it's about being honest. What you have doesn't matter. Lying about it does.
I'm gay, lesbian, bi, trans or non-binary. Is Mireya for me too?
Yes, you're welcome here. A dedicated section of Mireya is coming, with its own profiles and its own counter, separate from the pilot. You can't sign up for it yet. Join the waiting list below, choose 'Something else', and we'll let you know when there's news.
I don't live in Rotterdam or The Hague. Can I still join?
Yes, as long as you can get to dates in Rotterdam or The Hague: you don't have to live there. Amsterdam, Utrecht, Breda and Eindhoven aren't open yet; we're opening city by city. Join the waiting list below and we'll let you know when it's your city's turn.
Are there fake profiles on Mireya?
Mireya is built to keep them out. No one gets into the app without a live screening: a video call of about 20 minutes, face to face, with your ID on camera. We also check that your photos really are of you. If they're not, you don't get in. And until your profile is live, you can't see anyone or post anything.
Is Mireya for people looking for something serious?
Mireya is for people who genuinely want to meet someone, and who actually show up. In the screening, we ask what you're looking for. If you're in a relationship right now, you won't get in. And after one no-show, you're out.
How is this different from a selfie or ID check?
With an automated selfie or ID check, software looks at whether your face matches a photo. At Mireya, you're face to face with a person, live on video. They see your ID next to your face, check that your photos are of you, and make sure what you say about your job, your income and your marital status adds up. We keep the outcome, never the proof: no copy of your ID, no payslip, no screenshot.
